About the Author

Chaohua Ou

Chaohua Ou is currently the Director of Data and Learning Technologies in the Lastinger Center for Learning at the University of Florida. Her previous leadership roles include the Managing Director at the National Artificial Intelligence Research Institute for Adult Learning and Online Education (AI-ALOE), and the Assistant Director for Learning and Technology Initiatives in the Center for Teaching and Learning at Georgia Tech.  Here are a few key highlights of her career dedicated to learning innovation:

  • Accomplished educational technology leader and instructional design expert with 15+ years of progressive experience driving digital learning innovation in higher education and research environments.
  • Proven track record of leading enterprise-wide learning initiatives, managing complex multi-institutional partnerships, and advancing pedagogical excellence through strategic technology integration.
  • Recognized thought leader in AI-enhanced education, online learning design, and scalable instructional solutions with extensive publication record and federal grant management experience.
